A logo for a place, an idea of two friends.
After years of absence from my Norcia for work, I was asked by Vincenzo and Federico Bianconi, to create the logo for the old Hotel Posta.
A name from the reality of the times, from the family who lived and worked in that location.
The last name of those who lived there it was Seneca, a family of carpenters, who worked and lived in the building.
Palazzo Seneca from the name of the person who lived there.
At this point I asked my two friends to show me some special unique aesthetic of the building, I was brought into the room where the fireplace mastered my view a logo carved into the stone of the fireplace.
From a real name, a real logo.
I’ve always had respect for the good that has been done, and so I just had to minimize and drawing techniques with modern logo of the real Seenca.
